Create a FiveM Server

This guide will show you exactly how to setup a FiveM server with txAdmin in under 5 minutes!

FXServer​

Download​

  • Go to the this Website and download the FiveM artifacts.
  • Install the Version with the highest Number.

Installation​

  • Open the server.zip file. If you can't find the download, open the downloads using Ctrl + J.
  • Create a new Folder on your C:/ drive. Call it ´FiveM´ and in that folder create a new folder called ´FXServer´.
  • Go back to the server.zip file, copy all the content and paste it in your FXServer folder.
  • Once you've put all the content in the FXServer folder, scroll down and find FXServer.exe, double click it.

txAdmin​

  • On the first setup of the server, txAdmin automatically opens in the browser.
  • In the console that just opened after starting FXServer.exe you will find a pin consisting of 4 digits. This pin is automatically filled in in txAdmin.
  • Click Link Account.
  • If you do not have one, create a Cfx.re account, if you have one, click Continue.
  • Now you should create a password, confirm it 1 more time, accept the "Creator PLA" and click "Register".
Make sure to write this password down somewhere.
  • Once done, click "Go to the setup page!" in the top left corner.
  • Click "Next".
  • Make a short Server Name for txAdmin.
  • Click Popular recipes.
  • Choose whatever recipe you want, for now we will go with CFX Default FiveM.
  • On the "Data Location" step just click "Save".
  • Finally click "Go to recipe deployer".
  • Click "Next".

Keymaster​

  • Now you will need your Keymasterlicense key.
  • Click Sign in.
  • Click the New Server.
  • Display name: Whatever you want, we will call it "Test Server" for now.
  • Accept the Captcha.
  • Click "Generate". You will now be redirected back to the home page of keymaster.
  • On the "Active servers" section you will find your newly created Keymaster license key. Click the ID and click "Copy" right next to the blurred key.

txAdmin​

  • Go back to txAdmin and paste the license key, then click "Run Recipe".
  • Once the recipe is done executing, click "Next".
  • Scroll down and click "Save & Run Server".
  • You should now be able to join your FiveM server.
